LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS CLASS
Just like athletes must diversify exercise routines, stay in shape, and find new ways to develop their skills, this ongoing class gives you a powerful weekly workout. It introduces and practices different ways to connect to a variety of material and to the process of auditioning. It sharpens your instincts and helps you to become self-assured on camera. Each week Jami will strip away your distractions, challenge your blocks, and hone in on how to make your on-camera work and your auditions the best they can be.
Most importantly, this weekly workout provides a collaborative environment where working with other artists elevates your craft so that you can look forward to auditions with confidence and yes, even enthusiasm.
Most of the sessions are on-camera, working with different material each week. You explore pieces from films, plays, TV dramas and comedy. You’re assigned material, you find scenes on your own, you write your own pieces, you create work in the room, and you explore material in a variety of ways. Through this exploration, you’re able to find your voice and intimate connections with your fellow actors weekly, and build from week to week so that you have confidence, ease, and clarity in the work, power you can bring into any room, onto any stage, onto any set...
Join Jami every week for work that will expand your practice and up your game.
