The Ongoing On-Camera/Audition Practice w/ Christy Faison
A Weekly Audition Workout
Most professionals – from surgeons, customer service agents, teachers, and athletes – continuously practice and develop skills that keep them on their game and expand their level of expertise. It’s said that practice allows us to perform any task while using less and less brain activity – has there ever been a time that you came up with an idea while driving or brushing your teeth? Imagine a world in which you feel confident and totally prepared for any challenge that comes your way in the audition world – a world in which you are less in your head and the most open you’ve ever been. A world in which your work and preparation allows you to let true, genuine moments flow through you.
In The Ongoing On-Camera/Audition Practice, taught by Christy Faison, you are in the ongoing practice of working on camera and in a casting setting so that you are completely on your game.
Join Christy every week for an ongoing workout that will expand your practice, grow your confidence in the audition process, and open your mind.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS CLASS
Your weekly workouts are mostly on-camera, giving you an opportunity to become fully comfortable working in front of the camera. And to then watch your work and see the growth you make each week.
You are assigned series regular, guest star, and co-star scenes and monologues from television and film. Additionally you find your own material. Whatever the script, you’re asked to take any feedback and make it work, using it instead of taking it.
Also on camera, you work with a variety of practices to create work right there in the room.
On occasion, we invite special guests to speak with us about their experiences in the industry, professionals who help demystify common thoughts we have about those other people in the room and the decision makers in the audition process.

What Actors are Saying
"Christy’s on-camera class is different from any other classes I’ve taken in LA or NY. She really loves actors. She loves casting. And she respects the process. She tries to push you within your comfort zone and is truly interested in you and your journey. I’m learning that it’s okay to fail. To not be perfect. That striving to find the truth in a performance is the most important thing for an actor. I high recommend her class to actors of all levels. A must in today’s “casting off tape” world."Kat Ahn THE OFFICE
"I can't say enough good things about this class! Christy has a unique perspective and a real love for actors. She is a an invaluable resource and a great person to have on your side. She creates a wonderful environment for actors to really push themselves. Her honesty and commitment to the work is refreshing and she's definitely one of the best casting directors you can work with."Jamieson Rhyme LAW & ORDER: SVU
"Christy Faison teaches with heart and an honest voice. She helps demystify the audition process so that it's just another part of what we do as actors, it's our friend! 8 weeks with Christy was not enough! She’s the coolest! Thank you."Jacqui Pinol THE FAULT IN OUR STARS
