Journey Out (formerly The Mary Magdalene Project) seeks to help victims of commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking leave a life of abuse and violence, overcome their fears, and empower them to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

This month, The BGB Studio will partner with Journey Out to collect Compassion Bags for the homeless victims of sex trafficking. Living and working on the street deprives these women of their most basic needs.
So… we’re asking you to buy a backpack, fill it with the following items, and bring it to The BGB Studio on or before Friday, June 17th. We will then take the bags to be distributed by Journey Out and help these women transition off the streets and back into their lives.
Here is what to put in each bag:
- Backpack
- Light Sweater/Jacket
- Socks
- Deodorant
- Journal
- Pen
- Micro First Aid Kit
- Water Bottles
- Tissues
- Sanitizing Wipes
- Food Bars
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Encouraging Note / Card
