BGB’s Audition Revolution
Forget everything you think you know about auditions
The very word strikes panic. Either you don’t get as many as you’d like or you get them but don’t book them. You’re lost, uncertain, and drowning in self-doubt. BGB’s Audition Revolution Weekend will turn what you think about auditioning on its head. These few days of mind-altering work blurs the lines between your unique artistry and the often paralyzing confines of the audition process. Audition experts Risa Bramon Garcia and Steve Braun, along with a group of dedicated and talented BGB Master Teachers, give you the tools to walk into the audition room, be fully seen, and move your audience with your wonderful talent. This class is not an audition or employment opportunity and there is no suggestion or guarantee of an audition or employment as a result of taking this class.
Make no mistake. There’s no easy answer. BGB’s Audition Revolution Weekend will push your boundaries and take you directly to the heart of your discomfort. But then again, comfort never got anyone anywhere. The Audition Revolution begins by jumping feet first into the audition process, reading audition sides for casting directors and your class, followed by an analysis of what worked and what didn’t, what feelings came and what blocks got in your way. Then the Revolution begins. Using Meisner exercises, improv, and on-camera work designed specifically for the Audition process, Risa and Steve, and our Master Teachers, help you find your power in the audition process.

What Actors Are Saying
"This weekend was a game changer for me! Learning to let go of what I think the casting director/producer/director/network is looking for and just forget myself: explore, create and have fun (the thing I find addicting about acting in the first place). This past weekend brought me back to my inner child that found acting magical and intoxicating. In short, what you all have given me is truly invaluable-you've given me back my belief in myself, my imagination, and my art. You've given me back my reason for life-I know that sounds ridiculously over dramatic, but that's truly how I feel-excited about life and the future. I can't thank you all enough!"Megan McKenzieGLEE
"I immediately fell in love with the BGB Studio after taking The Audition Revolution Weekend and couldn't wait to get into another class. I love that there's no ego at this studio, there's just truth and work and honesty. The space and environment make me feel safe and open, classmates are supportive and encouraging. And I love that I leave class feeling so connected. BGB Studio is a beautiful place to do the work and explore your craft."Keylor LeighSUPERNATURAL
"The best experience I have had training in Los Angeles. I took The Audition Revolution Weekend and worked with the most incredible teachers. I was able to recognize my resistance and also I understood fully not to separate the audition from the fun and play of acting. This weekend has opened the draw bridge. I am so pleased to have found MY creative gym!"Henry HerefordCROSSBONES
