The Pilot Season Workout

with BGB Master Teachers

Take Control of Pilot Season

No matter what happens for you this Pilot Season, you need to be in the kind of championship shape required to book work. Pilot Season can bring ulcer-inducing anxiety and a reminder that your whole world is dependent upon someone or something else. It can make you feel powerless. And that’s where your craft and career end.  In order to show up for your work, for your career, you have to take command of your acting work with a weekly workout that gets you ready for success and keeps you there all pilot season long.

It’s time to push back against the fear and focus on being in the intense practice of the work. Now more than ever, success will only happen when you stand up, speak up and show up, unapologetically with your power. And that power comes from being deep in the practice of the work.

The Pilot Season Workout with BGB Master Teachers shows you how. Let us show you the path to a successful and profitable Pilot Season AND give you the tools to build a sustainable acting career.

The Work

With the guidance of your BGB Master Teachers (see Teacher tab), you will get more comfortable working fast, specifically, and boldly during Pilot Season. You will come to understand what the decision makers really need in casting their pilots. You’ll learn how to give new, unformed pilot scripts shape and clarity, bringing your unique voice to a character that desperately needs a voice. You’ll find ways to create your own specifics, deciding where the scene and the character live in you, and what they mean to you. You’ll find out how to collaborate with creative teams when you go into the room, creators and casting directors who are doing their best to figure this all out with the clock ticking. You will become an artistic leader, a requirement to book a Pilot.

*And you’ll gain insight to what really matters artistically during these few months of the year.

This class is not an audition or employment opportunity and there is no suggestion or guarantee of an audition or employment as a result of taking this class.
