Aisha is an actor, comedian and writer born in Nigeria and raised in Canada. A former pro-soccer player, wedding planner and motivational speaker she began a career in entertainment and hasn’t looked back. Aisha was a cast member on the iconic Canadian TV shows such Degrassi and Air Farce and is still a cast member on the satirical news show The Beaverton. She was a finalist for Stand Up NBC, a Bob Curry Fellow at Second City Toronto and most recently a Diversity Scholarship recipient at The Groundlings School in LA. Aisha has performed stand up comedy at the international comedy festival Just For Laughs as well as comedy clubs around the world including England, South Africa and Iceland. She was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award and was a TEDx speaker on the topic of embracing failure as a way to success. Aisha offers authenticity and vulnerability in her teaching and work.
