Felipe Figueroa came to the work via musical theater in high school – by mistake. It was just supposed to be an extracurricular activity so that he could get into the National Honor Society (P.S. he did). SWEET CHARITY was his first show, and that sparked the journey. After attending NYU for Drama, he performed in regional theater for a few years. Favorite roles: Paul in A CHORUS LINE, Bernardo in WEST SIDE STORY. Fearful of living without food or money (for real), he left the business and went into the “real world” working at a dental office for 8 years – which was a rich source for studying people and growing himself. After 8 years of that, the art of what we do tugged at him and he moved to Los Angeles to start a career in television. Favorite credits include: TRANSPARENT, LOPEZ, CRIMINAL MINDS. He’s worked on numerous plays, sketches, web series, etc all with people whom he adores and whose work he respects, and all in the name of just doing the work. BGB (Steve’s Wednesday Workout) has been his home for the last 3 years and it has been truly life-changing. Favorite words – passion and limitless.
