Anne came to performance at an early age through a love of dance. Growing up, she studied ballet, modern dance, Flamenco, Irish Step dance and traditional African dance at the Peabody Institute. After working as a child actor in her hometown of Baltimore, MD, she moved to New York where she attended The Atlantic Acting School and continued working in Off-Broadway theater, eventually transitioning to sketch comedy and commercial work. During this time, she discovered and trained in Suzuki/Viewpoints and Committed Impulse. Her lifelong devotion to movement has been a through line in all of her creative pursuits. From portraying a drug addict on LAW AND ORDER, to performing in a play where the stage directions read “She swims throughout this scene,” her background in physical work has been crucial at every moment in her career. Anne believes that the foundation of any flourishing acting career is a consistent physical practice. She brings her 20-year yoga practice to this work, as well as 10+ years of Meisner training. Anne has a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and is a certified 200-hour Yoga teacher, trained at Wanderlust Hollywood.
