Day 1

(TO BE EDITED) Welcome to The Original 5 Elements Challenge Day 1! The audio clip below will help guide you through your 5 daily activities. We recommend that you read through the instructions of each task first then refer back to the audio clip once you are ready to get started.

Are you ready? Great! Here we go!

Meditation

Today we will guide you through the first portion of your Meditation, then we will meditate in silence for 5 minutes, and come back to complete our experience together. Listen to the audio with headphones if you can. Adjust the volume to your comfort level, according to the device you’re using.

Writing

After our Meditation, we will do the Writing Exercise introduced in this Audio. Have your journal or notebook and pen/pencil ready. Write down the question(s) introduced in the Writing Audio portion and begin to write. Now, get into your quiet, comfortable space, headphones on, and settle in for today’s Meditation. Let’s begin!

Movement

Do your best to be in your body today with awareness. Focus on the movement, the instructor if there is one, your intention. Notice where you disconnect or get distracted.

Acting

Engage in an acting activity of any kind, being as present as you can be. Check back to the Welcome Page if you’re looking for suggestions.

Giving

Turn off your phone, internet, social media, go off the grid for 3+ hours today. Even if you’re working, find an extended period of time to let go of any of those distractions. Give yourself mindful time of value instead.
